Allan Goodman

Allan has been playing drums since he was 13, performing in bands that have played everything from rock, jazz, country, pop, Broadway, to an original Alternative band in the 80s, called “The Other Side”.

While growing up, Allan’s mother played piano and organ, directed choir, and acted in local musicals, so he was always absorbing various musical styles. He accompanied his mother on many of her solo gigs and musicals, and will always treasure those memories. Some of his drumming influences include Ringo Starr, Charlie Watts, John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell, Buddy Rich, Steve Gadd, Jim Keltner, and many others. Allan’s style of playing is “playing for the song”, and not overshadowing the band. Playing in Broken Arrow allows Allan to play the rock classics, while always keeping to the spirit of the song.
